Recently the Indian automotive industry has experienced a surge of cars and bikes that have been launched in the country. In the past couple of weeks the market witnessed some of the major car launches like the all new Hyundai Creta, the 2015 Mahindra Thar, the new Mercedes-Benz S 500 coupe, S63 AMG Coupe and the G63 AMG to name a few. Further continuing the launch spree some of the most awaited cars and bikes were launched this week, which included the Fiat Abarth 595 Competizione, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross and Honda CBR 650F.   Here are the latest cars and bikes launched in India this week:

Japanese two wheeler giant, Honda is going to launch range of motorcycles at the Honda RevFest 2015, which will be held simultaneously across 8 cities including New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmadabad, Hyderabad, and Indore on August 4, 2015. With a launch date slated for August 4, the bike maker has reportedly revealed that up to 30 units of the all-new CBR will be up and ready to go on sale by the launch date. Initially Honda will retail the new 650F through 10 exclusive dealership located across the country.

Honda Motorcycles India: Honda to invest INR 1,775 crore to expand 2-wheeler capacity

Japanese auto major Honda has announced its decision to invest INR 1,775 crore this year to expand its two-wheeler production capacity and also for the launch of its new models in India.  The company's wholly owned subsidiary, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) plans to introduce 15 new products this year, out of which seven are brand new models. It will also start assembling high-end sports bike CBR 650F in India. In a statement released by the company, Honda says that India is a market which the company expects to become 'number one' for it globally in two years.
