Recently the Indian automotive industry has experienced a surge of cars and bikes that have been launched in the country. Japanese auto major Honda has announced its decision to invest INR 1,775 crore this year to expand its two-wheeler production capacity and also for the launch of its new models in India. The company's wholly owned subsidiary, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) plans to introduce 15 new products this year, out of which seven are brand new models. It will also start assembling high-end sports bike CBR 650F in India. In a statement released by the company, Honda says that India is a market which the company expects to become 'number one' for it globally in two years.
