Hyundai Elite i20 Bookings: 2014 Hyundai i20 crosses 12000 Bookings in 15 days

Hyundai Motor has launched its much awaited premium hatchback – Elite i20, in the Indian Market. Hyundai Motors has announced that, the just launched Elite i20 has received over 12000 bookings in just 15days of its India launch. Hyundai Motors India is looking at 50% of a growth and has targeted monthly sales of 6000 units of Elite i20, Hyundai Motors expecting that the diesel variant and petrol variants to sell in the same numbers. The previous model – Hyundai i20 used to sell about 3500 to 3800 units per month. Earlier, Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Hyundai Motors India Limited, said, "This year our target for sales in domestic market is 4.10 lakh units. Last year we had sold 3.8 lakh units in the domestic market. The past three months have seen improvement in customer sentiment resulting in better sales in the automotive segment."

Just launched Hyundai Elite i20 has received over 4,600 bookings in just 12 days since the Hyundai started its pre-launch bookings on 1st August, of which 2600 bookings are for the petrol variant of 2014 Hyundai i20 while other 2000 bookings are for the diesel variants.
