IPL 2013

IPL 2013, short for Indian Premier League, is the sixth season of this form of the game. This form of cricket was started by the BCCI in 2007 and from having eight teams participating in the tournament initially, this season has nine. Sponsored by Pepsico, this season started with its opening ceremony held in Kolkata followed by the tournament commencing on April 3, 2013. The tournament will see its final match being played on May 26, 2013.
