Jessica Marie Alba is an American actress who works predominantly in the English film and television industries and is also a businesswoman. She made her film and television debut in 1994 at the age of 13 starring in the movie Camp Nowhere and television series The Secret World of Alex Mack.
She began to express an interest in acting from the age of five, and when she was 11, Jessica persuaded her mother to take her to an acting competition in Beverly Hills, where the grand prize was free acting classes. She won and began taking her first acting lessons, which then led to her being signed up by an agent 9 months later.

In 2013 she released a book titled The Honest Life, which became a New York Times Best Seller, and in October 2015, she launched a collection of skincare and beauty products called Honest Beauty.
PERSONAL LIFE:
Jessica Marie Alba was born on April 28, 1981 in Pomona, California to Catherine Louisa (née Jensen) and Mark David Alba, and she has a younger brother. She graduated from Claremont High School at the age of 16 and subsequently attended the Atlantic Theater Company. She is married to Cash Garner Warren with whom she has three children.
