Judwaa 2

Judwaa 2 is a comedy-action film directed by David Dhawan that stars Varun Dhawan in a double role opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. Judwaa 2 is the sequel of a 1997-action comedy film that starred Salman Khan in the double role opposite Karisma Kapoor and Rambha which was also directed by David Dhawan. The film was a remake of Telugu film 'Hello Brother' which was inspired from Jackie Chan's film 'Twin Dragons'. The shooting started the on February 3 as the prequel was released twenty years ago on February 7. The film also shows Varun Dhawan in double role for the first time.

The music of the prequel that is Judwaa was super duper hit that had peppy and catchy songs by music composer Anu Malik. While the songs like Chalti Hai Kya Nau Se Barah and Oonchi Hai Building created buzz in Bollywood, the makers decided to retain these two songs in the sequel too. Varun Dhawan in the film has a dapper role 'Prem' as well as a tapori and bindaas role with the name 'Raja'. Both the characters will be seen romancing the characters played by Jacqueline and Taapsee. 

Also the most important aspect of the prequel was the amazing fun chemistry between Karisma Kapoor and Salman Khan. To get the nostalgic feeling back, the makers have brought in the duo on the silver screen together for a short special appearance. The movie is said to be shot in Mumbai and London which will be from the month of April to May. 

Just like the prequel, the film is directed by Varun's father and ace director David Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The distributors of Judwaaa 2 are Nadiadwala Grandsons Entertainment. The film is scheduled to release on September 29.
