Born on November 7, 1954 in the family of D. Srinivasan and Rajalakshmi Srinivasan, Kamal Haasan is an Indian film actor, director, producer, singer and choreographer. He studied in Paramakudi and later went to Santhome, Madras to get his education. Haasan's career started off as a child artist in films like Kalathur Kannamma and Kannum Karalum. He then featured in Maanavan in 1970 as an adult. 1975's Apoorva Raagangal was a breakthrough film in the career of Kamal Haasan. Kamal Haasan made his Bollywood debut with Ek Duuje Ke Liye. Hey Ram, Virumaandi, Vishwaroopam, Dasavathaaram and Papanasam are some of Kamal's best films. Kamal Haasan married Vani Ganapathy in 1978, but the couple divorced and Kamal then married Sarika with whom he has two kids named Shruti and Akshara, but later the two got divorced.
