Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki

Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki is an Indian show of Hindi television and is broadcasted on Colors TV. The show is produced by Ekta Kapoor and it premiered on Colors TV on 7^th March 2016. The show is aired on weekdays from Monday to Friday at 10 pm. The main leads of the show are Shivani Tomar and Sharad Malhotra and the show is based on the backdrops of Punjab. The plot of the series is different from the normal slots of other shows and the plot takes the viewer in different time phases and shows how the love survives through all the problems and phases of life. In September 2016, it was announced that Shivani Tomar would be replaced by Kratika Sengar Dheer. Sharad Malhotra plays the character of Rishi whereas Kratika Sengar plays the character of Tanushree.

Premiered on 7^th March 2016, the plot of the show revolves around Rishi Singh Bedi and Tanu Khanna. Tanu and Rishi are childhood friends. They used to play together all the time and considered each other as good friends. One day while playing, Rishi falls over the side of a dam. Tanu after learning that Rishi is in problem decides to help him and she somehow saves his life. After the parents come to know, they come and take their children to the nearby temple. In the temple, they come across a woman sadhu who prophesies that Rishi’s birth chart shows that he is in big trouble and he should marry Tanu before his 23^rd year as Tanu will save him from all the problems. However, Rishi’s mother Rano dislikes the idea and then she is able to trick her husband Raj into taking the family to USA. Rishi returns back to India after 17 years. Fate has already written something else for Rishi and Tanu. Rishi has some fault in his birth chart and the only way to get rid of it is when a girl with the opposite planets in her chart marries him. Rishi was unknown about this birth chart and the faults in his life. Whenever Rishi meets Tanu, she saved him from a near death. Later on, they become good friends and then end up falling in love with each other. After Tanu finds out that Rishi has some issues in his birth chart, she decides to save him from every problem and gets ready to sacrifice everything for him and marries him. Few days after marriage, Tanu ends up dying in a horrific car accident. Rishi gets very upset as he was deeply in love with Tanu and then he decides to break all the relations with Gitanshu Gupta who was driving the car which led to the accident and ended Tanu’s life. Later, Rishi learns from his mother that there is a fault in his birth chart and anyone who would marry him will have to face risk in his life. Rishi learned that Tanu knew that her life would be at risk but despite knowing everything she decided to marry him. Things got worse for Rishi when he checks all his birth charts to find out that what his mother is saying is right and Tanu took his death on her fate. Rishi then decides to suicide but later he goes to meet a Tantrik seeking a solution for the problem. The Tantrik predicts that in these cases love is more powerful than any other power or spirit and that love will come back to life as death is immortal and death cannot separate them. The Tantrik says that Tanu will be back by the next “punarmashi ki Raat” and she will be in another form but the soul will be the same. Tanu returns as per said by the Tantrik but she returns in the most unexpected form. She is reborn and she enters Rishi’s life 20 years later. After many twist and turns as well as different events in life, Rishi gets introduced to the reborn Tanu. The face of Tanu is different but the attitude remains just the same. Rishi notices a connection with the girl and he sees a similar mannerism, behavioral patterns, and her idiosyncrasies similar to what Tanu had.

The show has been running successfully after its premiere and it has gained a huge popularity among the audiences. The show consists of a good story, great actors and a prime channel that has made it a successful show.
