Khesari Lal Yadav

Khesari Lal Yadav is an Indian actor, singer, and model who works predominantly in the Bhojpuri film industry. He came into the limelight after starring in 2012 movie Sajan Chale Sasural, and after that, he starred in over 50 movies.

He has received a number of awards for his performances, notably the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Award in 2017, the Bhojpuri Film Award in 2016 for Best Popular Actor, and the UP Ratan Award in 2017.

2012 TO 2014:

Khesari starred in 26 movies from 2012 to 2014, namely, Jaan Tere Naam, Dil Le Gayi Odhaniya Wali, Devra Par Manva Dole, Nagin, and Lahoo Ke Do Rang (All 2012 Bhojpuri movies). In 2013, Hawa Mein Udta Jaye Mera Lal Dupatta Malmal Ka, Sapoot, Doodh Ka Karz (Hindi), Pyar Jhukta Nahi, Pyar Kawno Khel Na Ha, Ae Balma Biharwala, Sansaar, Teri Kasam, Kachche Dhaage, and Chhapra Express. In 2014, Betaab, Pratigya 2, Shola Shabnam, Charno Ki Saugandh, Tere Naam, Jaaneman, Khoon Bhari Maang, Lahoo Pukarela, Jo Jita Wahi Sikander, Hathkadi, and Laadla.

2015 TO 2017:

There was no year in which Khesari acted in just one movie, in 2015 he starred in Latkhor, Saathiya, Tu Mera Hero, Bandhan, Haseena Maan Jayegi, Inteqaam, Jaanam, Hero No.1, and Khesari Ke Prem Rog. In 2016, in Jwala, Sajan Chale Sasural 2, Dilwala, Dabang Aashiq, Khiladi, and Hogi Pyar Ki Jeet. In 2017 he starred in Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna, Aatankwadi, Jila Champaran, Hum Hai Hindustani, Mai Sehra Bandh Ke Aaunga, Muqaddar, and Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki.

2018 TO 2020:

With no signs of slowing down, Khesari in 2018 starred in Deewanapan, Damru, Rajajani, Dulhan Ganga Paar Ke, Sangharsh, Balam Ji Love You, Naagdev, and Dabang Sarkar. In 2019 he starred in Coolie No. 1, and Baaghi- Ek Yoddha. He will be seen in 2019 movies Bhag Khesari Bhag, Meri Jung Mera Faisla, and Duniya. In 2020, in movies Herapheri, and Teri Meharbaniyan.

PERSONAL LIFE:

Khesari Lal Yadav was born Shatrughan Kumar Yadav on March 15, 1986 in Siwan district of Bihar to Mangru Lal Yadav and he has two siblings. Coming from a poor family, he did not get a proper education and had spent most of his childhood helping his father to support the family. Khesari is married to Chanda Devi and he has two sons and daughter with her. During his earlier years, he would perform in local marriages to earn a living and even sold Litti Chokha with his wife at one point of time to support the family.
