Kim Kardashian

Kimberly Noel Kardashian West or Kim Kardashian as she is known, is an American model, entrepreneur, socialite, media personality, and actress. She first came into the limelight as a friend and stylist of Paris Hilton but really hit the spotlight after a 2002 sex tape, Kim Kardashian, Superstar, with her then-boyfriend Ray J was released in 2007.

Kim's first stint in show-business came when she made an appearance as a guest on various episodes of reality television series The Simple Life between 2003 and 2006. The show was about two wealthy socialites, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, doing menial jobs.

2007 TO 2009:

From October 2007, Kim and her mother Kris Jenner, her step-parent Caitlyn Jenner (Bruce), her siblings Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian, and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, began to appear in the reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The show was such a hit that it led to the creation of spin-offs.

In 2008, Kim was a contestant on reality television show Dancing with the Stars, and then hosted a reunion special for Bad Girls Club, a reality television show which focused on the altercations and physical confrontations of seven highly aggressive, quarrelsome, and unruly women. From 2009 to 2013, Kim featured in reality television series Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, which follows the sisters opening a boutique, D-A-S-H, in Miami, Florida.

2011 TO 2018:

Kim then featured in Kourtney and Kim Take New York, a show about the sisters opening a D-A-S-H boutique in New York. The series premiered in 2011 and ran for two seasons. She was also in three episodes of Khloe & Lamar, a show based on Khloe Kardashian and her then-husband, basketball player Lamar Odom.

In 2014, Kim again featured in another spin-off of the series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, titled, Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons. The show was on sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian opening a new D-A-S-H boutique in The Hamptons on Long Island, New York. The same year she appeared on reality television series Celebrities Undercover during the episode Wendy Williams and Kim Kardashian. In 2015, she appeared in I Am Cait and Dash Dolls, and in 2018, she had a cameo role in Hollywood movie Ocean's 8.

FILM:

Kim made her movie debut in 2008 with parody film Disaster Movie which also starred Matt Lanter, Vanessa Minnillo, Gary "G Thang" Johnson, Crista Flanagan, Nicole Parker, Ike Barinholtz, Carmen Electra, and Tony Cox. Then in 2009, she featured in the romantic-comedy Deep in the Valley, and in 2013, in movie Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.

TELEVISION:

Apart from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim also appeared as herself in Brothers (2009), How I Met Your Mother (2009), 90210 (2010), Last Man Standing (2012), 30 Rock (2012), American Dad! (2014), and 2 Broke Girls (2014). She also featured in the Second Chances episode of CSI: NY (2009), Beyond the Break (2009), and Drop Dead Diva (2012).

Kim was also a producer for the shows The Spin Crowd (2010), Keeping Up with the Kardashians (2015-2016), Rob & Chyna (2016), You Kiddin' Me (2018), and Glam Master (2018).

PERSONAL LIFE:

Kimberly Noel Kardashian West was born on October 21, 1980 in Los Angeles, California to Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner, and she has two sisters and one brother, along with two half-sisters. She studied at the Marymount High School, a Roman Catholic all-girls school in Los Angeles, and is married to rapper and longtime friend Kanye West with whom she has four children.
