Manvanjit Singh Sandhu is an experienced shooter who has represented India thrice at the Olympic Games. He first participated in Olympic Games in 2004 at Athens and then at 2008 Beijing Olympic and 2012 London Olympics. Manvanjit has previously been World No.1 Trap Shooter. Manvanjit is an Arjuna Awardee and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Awardee, which were awarded to him in 1998 and 2006 respectively. In 2006, he won a gold medal at the ISSF World Shooting Championships and became the first Indian shotgun shooter to do so. The Punjab born shooter has won four Asian Games silver medals and one Commonwealth gold medal. With so many medals and awards against his name one expects an Olympic medal from the shooter.
