In an attempt to reinstate the name Boleno, Maruti’s Japanese counterpart Suzuki motors has reportedly decided to name the i-K2 concept (codenamed YRA in India) after the famed premium sedan Maruti Boleno. The new premium hatchback will be officially unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt motor show starting from 15th September 2015.

With the S-Cross salted to be launched next month in India, Maruti is dividing its concentration towards its next big product the YRA premium hatchback. Expected to be introduced in 2016 Delhi Auto Show, it has been revealed that Maruti will launch the car without the much hyped turbo-petrol engine. Similar to the S-Cross, even the YRA premium hatchback will be sold via Maruti’s new premium dealership Nexa.

Maruti Suzuki, India's largest carmaker is trying hard to make its mark in the premium car segment. After successful launch of the Ciaz, the company is gearing up for the launch of much-awaited S-Cross crossover. Scheduled to go on sale on August 5, the Maruti S-Cross will be sold through MSI's new NEXA premium dealerships. Moreover, the company will also launch its next premium product- the YRA/Fronx this year.

Maruti Suzuki will launch the YRA premium hatchback in the Indian car market by this festive season. Team-BHP has posted some of the clear exterior and interior images of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki YRA (Fronx) hatchback. Like the S-Cross crossover, the premium hatchback will be sold through Maruti's premium dealerships, Nexa.

Maruti Suzuki India has started testing the Maruti YRA premium hatchback aka Fronx on Indian roads. Set to rival Hyundai Elite i20, VW Polo and Honda Jazz, the premium hatchback will get newly developed 1.0L turbocharged petrol and 1.3L MJD diesel engine.
