Mercedes-Benz, the German luxury carmaker is all set to launch the new S 63 AMG sedan tomorrow in India. The upcoming model is a performance oriented version of its flagship S-Class sedan, and the sedan twin of the recently launched S 63 AMG Coupe. Mercedes-Benz is likely to price the car over INR 2.0 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).

German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz posted a 43 per cent sales growth in India at 3,093 units in the second quarter of 2015. In January-June, the company's sales grew 41 per cent at 6,659 units compared with 4,717 units in the year-ago period. Continuing its historic growth momentum, Mercedes-Benz India registered a stellar 41 per cent year-on-year growth by selling 6659 units in the Jan - June 2015 period.

German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz today said it expects a strong double-digit growth in the current year. "In 2015 we are ahead and we are quite confident that we stay here....We expect a very strong double-digit growth...," Mercedes-Benz India MD and CEO Eberhard Kern said.

Mercedes-Benz, the German luxury car maker has initiated a new CSR campaign to emphasise awareness on road safety in India in association with its four group companies working in the country. Named as 'Safe Roads', the campaign is a joint CSR initiative between, Mercedes-Benz global headquarters and its group firms operating here, in which the message is spread through visual aids, physical demonstrations and research projects.

When German auto major Mercedes-Benz launched the CLA AMG 45 in India, they stated that the country will soon see more offerings in the line. And today they proved their statement true. Mercedes-Benz India today launched the production model of CLA AMG 45, the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class. The luxury compact saloon is the carmaker’s first offering of 2015 and as per their previous statement at least 15 more products have been planned for the Indian market. German luxury carmaker Mercedes- Benz plans to introduce 15 new products in India this year, and pump in INR 150 crore for adding a new assembly line for its upcoming CLA compact sedan at the Chakan facility. "Mercedes-Benz will introduce 15 products in 2015, including products with no predecessors in India. These new products are Mercedes-Benz India's biggest product initiative till date," the company said in a statement.

After achieving record sales in 2014, Germen auto manufacturer Mercedes-Benz is now all set to start the New Year with an ambitious plan. Under a new strategy named ’15 in 15’ Mercedes plans to launch 15 new models in the country before the end of 2015. While some of these models will be completely new to the Indian market, others will be launched with significant changes made to the current models.

German luxury car maker Mercedes- Benz today reported 13 per cent increase in annual sales in India in 2014 at 10,201 units, driven by new launches and network expansion. It had sold a total of 9,003 units in 2013, Mercedes-Benz said in a statement.
