Moto GP Argentina 2015: Valentino Rossi takes his second victory of the season after a dramatic clash with Marc Marquez

Italian racing star and Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi took his second victory of the season yesterday at Gran Premio Red Bull de la República Argentina. The victory was achieved after a dramatic clash with reigning MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez who was the race leader, before being chased down by Rossi. The Repsol Honda rider along with CWM LCR Honda’s Cal Crutchlow, apparently switched to hard rear tyre in the second half, unlike Rossi who went with extra hard compound for the rear that gave him the upper hand at the penultimate lap. The second place at the podium was taken by fellow Italian and Ducati rider Andrea Dovizioso followed by Cal Crutchlow who took the third spot.
