MTV Splitsvilla 9About Splitsvilla :MTV Splitsvilla is an Indian television reality show and is very popular among the youth audience. The show is broadcasted on MTV India and the show has completed nine successful seasons and currently the show is presented by Rannvijay Singh and Sunny Leone. The reality show is based on the American dating reality show Flavor of Love and the show revolves around young boys and girls who try to secure a place in Splitsvilla, and the contestants have to complete tasks and also mingle with contestants to find love. After a lot of fights, hate, jealousy, hatred, friendship one boy and one girl is crowned as couple and they are declared as the winner of the show. The show also has King and Queen who have the power to dump other contestants.Splitsvilla 9:MTV Splitsvilla season 9 is being hosted by Rannvijay Singh and Sunny Leone and the location for this season is in Puducherry. The show premiered its first episode on 11th June 2016 whereas the trailer for the season was telecasted on May 15 2016. The season has 15 boys and 6 girls and the theme of the show is Where Women Rule . The show consist of a couple from the previous season of MTV Roadies and this time there will be no king as well as no dumping power to boys. The six girls and 15 boys will be battling through love, friendship, hate, betrayal to be the ultimate winner of Splitsvilla. The contestants in the show include:Boys - Varun Sood, Gurmeet Singh Rehal, Nikhil Sachdeva, Abhishek Singh Pathania, Karan Khanna, Pratik Kalsi, Ayan Khan, Zain Abideen, Karan Chhabra, Aditya Singh Rajput, Akhil Kataria, Anuranjan Awasthi, Milind Manek, Harshit Tomar, Shubhashish, Ishaan Singh Manhas, Sushant Mohindru.Girls Kavya Khurana, Rajnandini Borpuzari, Martina Thariyan, Isha Anand Sharma, Mia Lakra, Shreeradhe Khanduja, Priya Haridas, Mayuri Das and Niharika Ghai.History :The rules of Splitsvilla werent the same in all the seasons. In season 1, hosted by Rannvijay Singh, two boys Varun Saini and Vishal Karwal find their ultimate girl of their dreams by putting the 20 girls through grueling test. The location of the show was in Goa and the girl dumped by the boys leave the show and at the end a winner is selected. Vishal and Shradha Haribhai were declared as the winner of the first season. The second season was hosted by Nikhil Chinappa and the show was located in Goa and consisted of 10 boys and 10 girls selected from the audition. Siddharth Bharadwaj and Sakshi Pradhan were the winners of Splitsvilla Season 2. Season 3 was hosted by Nikhil Chinappa and Deepti Gujral and the winning couple of season 3 was awarded Rs 5 Lakhs and a chance to be a VJ on MTV. This season had 10 single boys and girls and 5 unmarried couples. Riya Banmiyal and Parag Chadha were the winners of the season. This was the first time when Splitsvilla went international and the location for season 3 was Pattaya.Season 4 had four boys and 13 girls and the season was hosted by Nikhil Chinappa. The season also was located international and the entire season was shot in Dubai. Dushyant Yadav and Priya Shinde were declared as the winners.Season 5 had 9 girls and 9 boys and the villa was located somewhere outside Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand. Nikhil Chinappa was the host of the show and Paras and Akansha were the winners of the season.Season 6 consisted of 9 males and 9 females and the show was hosted by Sherlyn Chopra and Nikhil Chinappa and the show was located in Trivandrum. Mandy Debbarma and Paramvir Singh were the winners of season 6.Season 7 was one of the most popular season and had 7 males and 20 females. The show was hosted by Sunny Leone and Nikhil Chinappa and the location f the show was in Jaipur. The show had old Splitsvilla contestants as well as Mr Asia fame Mayank Pawar. Scarlette Rose and Mayank Gandhi were the winners of Splitsvilla 7. Season 8 had 14 girls and 8 boys and the show was hosted by Rannvijay Singh and Sunny Leone. Rannvijay Singh replaced Nikhil Chinappa as the host. The location of the show was in Goa and Prince Narula and Anuki Tchokhonelidze were the ultimate winners.
