Mustafa Dossa was convicted in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case on charges of conspiracy, murder and terrorist activities, by a special TADA (Terrorism And Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act) court in Mumbai. He was among the main accused in the case, along with Abu Salem, Feroz Abdul Rashid Khan, Taher Merchant, Riyaz Siddiqui, Abdul Qayyum Shaikh and Karimullah Khan. Mustafa Dossa had fled India following the 1993 serial blasts and declared absconder. He was extradited from the UAE. On Wednesday, June 28, Mustafa Dossa died of cardiac arrest at Mumbai's JJ Hospital, where he was taken to from prison after he complained of chest pain. According to JJ Hospital Dean TP Lahane, Mustafa Dossa was a diabetes and acute hypertension patient and wanted to undergo bypass surgery. Who was Mustafa Dossa?
