Neha Sharma

Neha Sharma is an Indian actress and model who stars in Hindi, Tamil, Telegu and Malayalam movies. She made her acting debut with Telegu movie Chirutha in 2007 starring opposite actor Ram Charan, who is the son of popular actor Chiranjeevi.

After skipping a year, Neha acted in yet another Telegu film in 2009. Titled Kurradu, it also starred actor Varun Sandesh. The movie was a remake of Tamil film Polladhavan.

In 2010, she made her Bollywood debut with Hindi movie Crook: It's Good to be Bad. The action thriller also starred Emraan Hashmi and Arjan Bajwa in the lead and it got mixed reviews upon release with critics praising the songs.

Her next appearance was in 2012 Hindi movie Teri Meri Kahaani in which she had a cameo appearance. The same year Neha starred alongside actors Ritesh Deshmukh, Tusshar Kapoor, Sarah Jane Dias, Anupam Kher and Chunky Pandey in adult comedy film Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum, which was a sequel to the 2005 movie Kyaa Kool Hai Hum. The movie got mixed reviews but performed well at the box office.

She then went on to star in 2013 Hindi movie Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story opposite Vivek Oberoi, and in the same year in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 alongside Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Kristina Akheeva. The movie had a mediocre opening at the box office.

In 2014 she starred in Youngistaan which also had actors Jackky Bhagnani, Farooq Sheikh, Deepankar De and Kayoze Irani. In 2016 she starred in Kriti, a short film that is a psychological thriller also starring actors Manoj Bajpayee and Radhika Apte. She also had a part in Chinese-Indian historical adventure film Xuanzang which was based on Xuanzang's seventeen-year overland journey to India during the Tang dynasty in the seventh century. In the same year she also starred in Tum Bin II.

In 2017 she made a special appearance in Hindi movie Mubarakan and then in Malayalam and Tamil movie Solo.

Personal Life:

Neha was born on November 21, 1987 in Bhagalpur, Bihar to Ajeet Sharma, a businessman turned politician, and she has three siblings. She has often campaigned for her father, who is the MLA for Bhagalpur, representing the Congress party.

Early Life:

She did her schooling from Mount Carmel School in Bhagalpur and later pursued a course in fashion designing from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in New Delhi. Neha is trained in Indian classical dance form Kathak and she has also learned jive and jazz, hip hop, merengue, Latin dancing-salsa from the Pineapple Dance Studios in London.
