Triumph Motorcycles India: After launching two new motorcycles Triumph aims to sell 2,500 premium motorcycles a year in India

British motorcycles marque Triumph has announces it aims to sell 2,500 units of its premium bikes a year in India. Yesterday at the launch event of its new 2015 Tiger series, Vimal Sumbly, Triumph Motorcycles India managing director told PTI, "Our intent is to develop India as a large market and our target is to sell 2,500 units per year, in three years time. Today, we have increased our adventure category portfolio with the launch of two new models in the 'Tiger' range.”

Triumph Motorcycles India today launched the all-new 2015 edition Tiger 800 XRx at an introductory price of INR 11.6 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The adventure tourer was launched in India along with its off-roading counterpart the Triumph Tiger 800 XCx. Triumph India also unveiled a soon to be launched base variant to both, the Tiger XR, which will be priced at INR 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Tiger XRx is a range topping variant that has been designed for touring and in India will be going up against the likes of Kawasaki Versys 1000 and BMW F700 GS.

British two-wheeler manufacturer Triumph Motorcycle today launched the new 2015 Tiger 800 XCx adventure off-roader in India. Priced at INR 12.7 lakh, the Tiger 800 XCx has been launched along with its tourer counterpart the Tiger 800 XRx. Along with these range topping motorcycles Triumph India has also unveiled the soon to launched base variant, the Tiger 800 XR, which will be priced at INR 10.5 lakh (all ex-showroom Delhi). The two former motorcycles were unveiled last month at the India Bike Week 2015 in Goa, where Triumph promised to bring in these two adventure motorcycle to India with a new pricing strategy.

British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph is all set to launch the 2015 edition of its 800cc adventure bikes Tiger XRx and Tiger XCx in India. Slated for a March 12 release, both the adventure bikes were unveiled last month at the 2015 India Bike Week in Goa. Though globally Triumph will be launching four variants of the Tiger – the XR, XC and two range-topping variants XRx and XCx, only the later two will launched in India. Triumph is yet to announce the official prices but we expect it to be anywhere in the range of INR 12 – 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
