Nia Sharma

Nia Sharma is an Indian actress who works in television, appearing in a number of Hindi serials. She began her acting career in 2010 in crime thriller series Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha that had aired on Star Plus till 2011. She shot to popularity after starring in web series Twisted in 2017.

In 2011, she starred in television soap opera Behenein, and then made a cameo appearance in The Player, which was followed by Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? (Guest).

2012 TO 2019:

From 2012, Nia has appeared in many television shows, namely, Nayi Soch Ki Talaash Aamir Ke Saath [(2012) TV Movie], Starlite (2012-2013), Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (2012), Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara [(2013) Guest], Jamai Raja (2014-2016), Pavitra Rishta [(2014) Guest], Qubool Hai (2014), Comedy Nights Bachao (2016), Tashan-e-Ishq (2016), Bhaag Bakool Bhaag (2017), Aap Ke Aa Jane Se (2018), Ishq Mein Marjawan (2018-2019), Udaan Sapnon Ki (2018), guest in Internet Wala Love, Ace Of Space 1 and Naagin 3 in 2018, and in 2019 in Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.

Nia has also been a contestant on reality shows like Box Cricket League 1 (2014), Killerr Karaoke Atka Toh Latkah (2015), Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 (2017), and Rasoi Ki Jung Mummyon Ke Sung (2017). In Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 she ended up being amongst the top 5 finalists. Apart from Twisted, Nia also stars in web series Jamai 2.0.


Nia Sharma was born Neha Sharma on September 17, 1990 in New Delhi and she has an elder brother. Her father passed away when she was a child and her mother is Usha Sharma. She completed her studies from St. Xavier's School in Delhi and then attended Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) in Rohini, Delhi to pursue her graduation in Mass Communication.


Nia was ranked number 3 in 2016 and number 2 in 2017 in the Top 50 Sexiest Asian Women list by British-based Eastern Eye newspaper. She won the Star Parivaar Awards, Favourite Nayi Soch Kirdaar, and Indian Television Academy Awards, Desh Ki Dhadkan – Best Actress – Popular for Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai in 2012. In 2014 she won the Zee Rishtey Awards, Favourite Nayi Jodi, and the Zee Rishtey Awards, Favourite Saas-Bahu, both for Jamai Raja. In 2015 she won Television Style Awards, Best Stylish Beti, and Indian Television Academy Awards, Gr8! Face Female, both for Jamai Raja.
