Omar Abdullah: Born in Jammu and Kashmir's first political family, Omar went on to become the youngest chief minister of the state in 2008. At the age of 28, he entered the parliament and was assigned as Minister of State in Ministry of External Affairs under Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government. However, in 2002, he resigned to strengthen his party's base in the state. Currently, he is serving as a legislator from Beerwah constituency of Burdgam district.
