Emotional Intelligence may be More Important Than IQ in the Workplace

The term emotional intelligence was originally coined by Yale psychologists John D. Mayer and Peter Salovey in 1990. Daniel Goleman was the first to introduce the term "emotional intelligence" to a wide audience in the year 1995, through his book, "Emotional Intelligence: Why it can Matter more than IQ"
