Shilpa Shinde

Shilpa Shinde is an Indian actress and politician who works predominantly in the Hindi film and television industries. She made her television debut in 2001 in the serial Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai and her film debut the same year with Telugu movie Chhina. She joined the Indian National Congress (INC) on February 5, 2019.

Where films are concerned, Shilpa starred in another Telugu movie in 2001 titled Shivani, and then in 2017 she made a special appearance in the song Maro Line from the movie Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi.

TELEVISION:

Shilpa has featured in a number of television series, and after Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai in 2001, she starred in Amrapali, Aandhi, Awaz - Dil Se Dil Tak and Miss India. The other serials that Shilpa has featured in are Bhabhi, Hatim, Sanjivani, Rabba Ishq Na Hove, Betiyaan Apni Yaa Paraaya Dhan, Hari Mirchi Lal Mirchi.

2007 TO 2014:

The next serial Shilpa featured in are 2007-2009 soap opera Kasturi, 2007-2009 television series Maayka, 2008 crime drama Waaris, 2009-2010 series Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg, 2011-2017 sitcom Chidiya Ghar, 2013 soap opera Do Dil Ek Jaan, drama series Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, 2014 sitcom Lapataganj, and 2015 sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!.

2018 TO 2019:

Apart from starring, Shilpa was also a guest on shows like Entertainment Ki Raat, Dus Ka Dum, Bigg Boss 12 and Kanpur Wale Khuranas.

BIGG BOSS 11:

Shilpa was the winner of reality television show Bigg Boss 11, which had premiered on October 1, 2017 with the grand finale taking place on January 14, 2018.

PERSONAL LIFE:

Shilpa Shinde was born on August 28, 1977 in Mumbai, Maharashtra to Dr. Satyadeo Shinde and Geeta Shinde and has one brother and two sisters. She studied psychology at KC College, Mumbai but failed to obtain her bachelor's degree. She was set to marry actor Romit Raj but it was called off.
