Sofia Hayat

Sofia Hayat was a British-Asian actress, singer, model and television personality who had renounced the world to embrace spirituality. She has worked on both English and Hindi projects and had made her debut as a television presenter in 2002 on Zee Music TV SKY. She was also a contestant on reality TV show Bigg Boss 7 in 2013.

Sofia has appeared in a number of television shows, in 2003 she featured in British comedy series Absolute Power. In 2004, she was a contestant on the show Bollywood Star, and in 2005 she featured in British television drama Footballers' Wives.

Sofia was named the new Curvy Icon by Vogue Italia in July 2012, and in September 2013, her name featured on the FHM sexiest women in the world list at position 81.

PERSONAL LIFE:

Sofia Hayat was born on December 6, 1974 in Gravesend, Kent, England to Zammurrad and Surriya, who are Muslims, and she has three sisters and two brothers. She studied at the University of Brighton, England and earned a BA (Hons) in Music and Performing Arts degree. She had in 2016 announced that she has embraced spirituality and become a nun, and adopted the name Gaia Sofia Mother. She was dating Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma, and after she broke up with him she married Vlad Stanescu in 2017 but divorced him after one year.
