BMW India Imports 2016 X1 for Testing: Launch likely in first half of 2016

BMW India has reportedly imported the new 2016 X1 SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) to the country for testing purposes. According to reports the Bavarian carmaker’s Indian arm has imported the new X1 sDrive 20d diesel version to India with right-hand-drive setting, which will be largely tested on Indian terrains. In India the 2016 X1 will make its official debut only in the first half of 2016.

Mahindra Adventure-organised ‘Mahindra Great Escape’ – one of India’s most popular off-roading events, today concluded its 5th season in Lonavala, Maharashtra. It was the 124th edition of this adventurous competition and saw over a 100 Mahindra owners participate from cities like Mumbai, Pune, Lonavala and others. Participants who had opted for the competitive Off-Roading Trophy competed for the ‘Mahindra Off-Roading Trophy 2016,’ which will be held in January 2016 at the Mahindra Adventure Off-Road Training Academy, Igatpuri.
