Maruti Suzuki, India's largest carmaker, is gearing up for the launch of its first ever crossover- the S-Cross SX4 in the country. Likely to go on sale by June or July, the crossover will be the first all-new product that the company would introduce this year. Maruti YRA aka Fronx and S-Cross will be sold through new Maruti's premium dealerships

Maruti Suzuki, India's largest carmaker will launch two new cars this year- the S-Cross SX4 and the YRA premium hatchback. Interestingly, the company is planning to sell these premium products through its exclusive premium dealerships. If reports are to be believed, the Ciaz sedan will also be sold through their premium dealerships. All three cars- the Ciaz, S-Cross and the YRA will be marketed under the Suzuki badge, thus no Maruti badging will be seen on them.

In order to mark strong presence in the premium segment, Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch a couple of all-new premium products in the market. After receiving an excellent response for Ciaz mid-sized sedan, India's largest carmaker is now gearing up for the launch of much-awaited S-Cross SX4 crossover. The crossover is already on sale in select international markets, but India-spec model will get an all-new nomenclature and engine specifications. The crossover is likely to be renamed as "ACross" in the Indian car market. Moreover, the company will also launch the YRA premium hatchback (Fronx) by the end of this year, which will be positioned above the Swift hatchback.
