Tata Bolt hatchback launched in Nepal: Price and Specifications

Tata Motors has launched the made-in-India Tata Bolt hatchback in Nepal. Manufactured at the Pimpri plant in Pune, the Bolt hatchback has been introduced under the company's HORIZONEXT umbrella. The hatchback is launched at a starting price of NPR 23.95 Lakhs, ex-showroom, Kathmandu, for the Revotron (petrol) 1.2T and starts at NPR 28.35 Lakhs, ex-showroom, Kathmandu, for the diesel variant. The car is available for sale, across the country in over 16 Sipradi sales outlets.

Ever since its launch in the Indian market Tata Bolt has been subject to growing consumer popularity. The premium hatchback comes with two engine options and in four different variants, namely XE, XM, XMS and the top-end model XT.  And one of the highly popular variant ever since its launch has been the second-top variant Bolt XMS. The Tata Bolt is all set to hit the Indian roads on January 22 and apparently it will be the first hatchback to be launched in 2015. The carmaker is already offering online booking for Bolt at the minimum booking amount of INR 11,000 and will be offering it in both petrol and diesel variant. Tata Motors has priced the bolt in the range of INR 4.20 - 6.60 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

Tata Motors finally revels the launch date for its long-awaited hatchback cars Bolt. This younger sibling of Tata Zest will be going on sale from next month on 20th January, 2015. After the success of the all new ZEST, Tata Motors is set to launch two new cars in India, the Tata Bolt and Tata Kite. Both of these upcoming cars are to be hatchbacks and the car makers have confirmed that both new launches will happen in 2015. While Tata BOLT is expected to be launched in early 2015, the KITE will hit the Indian streets only by the end of 2015.

Tata Zest: Tata Motors eyes exports Zest to Asian and African markets

Tata Motors said it has plans to export its new car 'Zest' to Asian and African markets. Zest, was launched in Kerala market with the base petrol variant starting at Rs 4.80 lakh and diesel at Rs 5.85 lakh (ex-showroom kochi), a day after the national launch in Mumbai. There are plans to export to Asian and African markets," but present focus would be on the domestic market, John O' Cooner, Vehicle Line Director (Passenger Vehicles) of Tata Motors, told reporters here. The company also has presence in European countries.

After Zest the much awaited launch of Tata Bolt of Tata Motors has been postponed till 2015. According to latest reports, Tata is planning to launch the Bolt by early 2015. Tata bolt will be the second passenger vehicle from the Tata Motors India stable after its recent launch of Tata Zest in August 2014. Zest has already received more than 10,000 bookings since its launch.

After the successful launch of Zest, Tata Motors is now planning to launch its latest hatchback - Bolt in October 2014 in Indian Market. We have seen the first look of Tata Bolt at 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. Tata Bolt will be a replacement of Tata Vista, but with improved interior and stylish exterior, Bolt will be available in both petrol and diesel version, the 1.2 litre Revotron petrol powered engine and 1.3L Quadrajet diesel engine. The price details are still not revealed by Tata, but we expect that Tata will price the Bolt in the range of INR 4.6 lakhs to 6.6 lakhs. Bolt will be available in four petrol and three diesel variants, and will compete with the Grand i10, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Chevrolet Sail and Volkswagen Polo in the same segment.
