Amid the recent launch to Tata Bolt and the upcoming Tata Kite, Indian automaker Tata Motors is working on plans to develop a new small hatchback car to rival Maruti Suzuki Alto and Hyundai EON. Codenamed Tata Pelican, the new small hatchback will based on the based on an updated Nano’s platform and will be placed just above the entry level Nano.
