Tiger Zinda Hai

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have reunited for the second installment of their film Ek Tha Tiger. While the first installment was directed by Kabir Khan in 2012, the second installment ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. In the previous installment Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were seen as Indian spy and Pakistani spy respectively who fall in love with each other. The second installment continues the journey of the duo.

The new installment promises extra action and adventure in it. Recently the director of the film tweeted revealing that the shooting is done in some sub-zero temperature-location. He tweeted, “ Butterflies In stomach and lots of excitement, packing for sub zero freezing locations @TigerZindaHai . It's gonna be fun” However, soon after, the fan clubs of Salman Khan leaked some pictures of the location of the shoot which is Tyrol in Austria. The actor and the crew tightened the security to prevent any further leaks. The fan clubs also supported the cause, however, some of them again leaked the location of the romantic song in the flick.

The shoot of Tiger Zinda Hai was stalled because Katrina Kaif caused a back injury while shooting for her film with Ranbir Kapoor- Jagga Jasoos. As she recovered, she joined the crew of Tiger Zinda Hai. The film has a romantic song by the team of Salman Khan’s previous film ‘Sultan’. Song ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ was hailed by the fans and thus the team re-united to give an equally melodious song to Tiger Zinda Hai, namely ‘Dil Diya Gallan’. The team consists composers Vishal-Shekhar, lyricist Irshad Kamil and choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant.

The songs and the action sequences are said to be shot in the first schedule of the film. The filmmakers have gone an extra mile while shooting the sequences to make it grander than Ek Tha Tiger. Salman Khan will be seen battling with a pack of wolves in one of the sequences, hoping to make the film reach the international standards.

Tiger Zinda Hai is directed and written by Ali Abbas Zafar who also has done the screenplay of the film. Aditya Chopra is the producer and also has given the story of the film. The music is given by popular composer duo Vishal- Shekhar where as the editing is done by Rameshwar S Bhagat. The film that stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sudeep Sanjeev, Paresh Rawal, Mahesh Babu in the lead is slated to release on December 22, 2017.
