Country’s largest luxury carmaker – Audi India today launched the all-new RS6 Avant in India priced at INR 1.35 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). Basically a high performance station wagon, the RS6 Avant is has been designed based on Audi’s popular luxury sedan A6. With the launch of this new car Audi has entered a whole new territory, as the Audi RS6 Avant is first of its kind to enter the Indian automotive market. Audi will be sold in India as Completely Built Units (CBU) and the initial number of units allocated for our country will be quite limited.

Country’s luxury car leader - Audi India is all set to launch the new 2015 RS6 Avant in India tomorrow. This will be Audi’s third all-new product to be launched in India this year. Designed based on the popular Audi A6 Sedan, the RS6 Avant is a performance-heavy station wagon and the first of its kind to be launched in India. India has traditionally not been a station wagon market so as of now the Audi RS6 Avant will be the sole player in the Luxury car segment. As for its price tag, we are expecting a price point close to INR 1 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).

Country’s luxury car leader Audi India yesterday launched its new 2015 Audi TT Coupe at INR 60.34 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi & Mumbai). This is the third launch for Audi in 2015 and what’s more is that the German car maker has announced its plans to launch five new cars in next five months. It can be said that Audi plans to do so to fortify its leadership position, which took quite a considerable hit when rival Mercedes-Benz significantly did more sales towards to end of last fiscal. The upcoming five launches will be apart from the recently launched Audi TT and will comprise of both new generation cars and facelifts.

Germen luxury car maker Audi gears up to launch the new 2015 Audi TT Coupe tomorrow in India. The third generation TT finally reaches our shores and this time comes with a boat load of cosmetic changes and design upgrades.  The 2015 Audi TT is much sleeker and sharper than the outgoing model, which takes it a tad bit closer to Audi’s flagship supercar R8 in terms of looks. Internationally Audi has launched both the TT and the TTS versions, but as of now only the TT variant will be launched in India, which will be approximately be priced around INR 60 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

German luxury carmaker Audi today inaugurated its first Technical and Service Centre for Indian market in the financial capital Mumbai. The company considers this as a pioneering step for its Indian arm Audi India towards strengthening its after-sales service in the domestic market. The new Audi Technical Service Centre was inaugurated by Mr. Ulli Seyfferth, Head of Technical Service: Entire Vehicle, AUDI AG and Mr. Joe King, Head, Audi India.

German luxury car maker Audi is all geared up to launch its third generation 2015 TT Sports Car in India this month. With a launch date slated for 23rd of April, the new facelifted TT brings forward a number of cosmetic changes both on the inside and outside along with mechanical upgrades. Similar to its predecessor, even the 2015 Audi TT will come in two variants: Audi TT and Audi TTS. As of now Audi has shown no signs of a plan to launch the TTS variant in India. Though we are yet to receive a definite price tag for the new Audi TT, industry experts believe that the sports car will be priced a little bit higher than the outgoing model at around INR 60 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Audi Cars India: Audi plans to add 10 new customer touch-points this year to maintain market position

German luxury carmaker Audi is planning to add around 10 new customer touch-points in India to complement the proposed 10 new launches that are expected to happen this year. By taking such steps, Audi hopes that it will help the company maintain its pole position in the country. Commenting on the same, Audi India head Joe King said, "We will be increasing our customer touch-points by 15 percent from our current 61 networks spanning 35 cities through a combination of showrooms and service facilities.”

German car maker Audi plans around 10 new launches in India this year, besides making its operations there benefit from the planned 24 billion euro global investments by 2019 to maintain its leadership status in the luxury segment. "The Indian market is developing well. We are leader in the luxury segment and would like to defend this position," Member of the Board of Management of Audi AG Luca de Meo told reporters here. Audi India posted a 26 per cent increase in sales in February this year over the same period last year which is a good signal, he added.

German luxury car maker Audi plans to launch around 10 new models next year in India as it looks to further consolidate its position in the country. The company, which today launched their compact convertible Audi A3 Cabriolet in India priced at Rs 44.75 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), currently sells 17 models in the country.
