Urvashi Rautela is one of the most popular actresses in Hindi cinema. After making her Bollywood debut opposite Sunny Deol in the 2013 movie Singh Saab The Great, the actress went on to star in many popular movies including comedies like Great Grand Masti, Virgin Bhanupriya, and Sanam Re among others. She has also won a number of beauty contests starting in 2009.

She started her modelling career at the age of 15, walking the ramp at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. Urvashi then won the title of Miss Teen India 2009, and at the age of 17, she won the titles Indian Princess 2011, Miss Tourism Queen Of The Year 2011, Miss Asian Supermodel 2011.

In 2012 she contested in the Miss Universe India pageant and was crowned I AM She – Miss Universe India, however, she had to relinquish the crown as she was believed to have been underage then. It did not stop Urvashi and she contested again in 2015, reclaiming her crown and making her the only woman to win the Miss Universe India crown twice. The same year she won the title of Miss Beautiful Smile at the Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva-Miss Universe India 2015.

CAREER:

Urvashi made her debut in Kannada films in 2015 with movie Mr. Airavata along with Darshan and Prakash Raj. The same year she made a special appearance in the song Daddy Mummy in Hindi movie Bhaag Johnny. In 2016 she starred in movie Sanam Re alongside Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam, the movie got mixed to negative reviews upon its release, and in the same year starred in Great Grand Masti along with Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani.

In 2017, she made a special appearance in the song Haseeno Ka Deewana in Hindi movie Kaabil, which had starred Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam. The same year Urvashi made a special appearance in the song Challobay in the Bangladeshi science fiction movie Porobashinee. In 2018 she starred in Hindi thriller Hate Story 4 alongside Karan Wahi and Vivan Bhatena.

Urvashi will next be seen in Pagalpanti alongside Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ileana D'Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, and Saurabh Shukla. Media reports also state that she will feature in a yet to be titled comedy film.

PERSONAL LIFE:

Urvashi Rautela was born on February 25, 1994 at Kotdwar, Uttarakhand to Manvar Singh Rautela and Meera Singh Rautela and she has a younger brother, Yash Rautela. She completed her schooling from DAV School in Kotdwar and her further studies from Gargi College in New Delhi. She also pursued a diploma in acting at the New York Film Academy's School of Film and Acting Talents.
