Uttaran is a Hindi daily sitcom that is aired on Colors TV every Monday to Saturday. It is the story of two young girl, Tapasya and Icchha who are from different economical background but become best friends. It is a story of the sacrifices they make, people they meet, relationships they get into and the problems they face. The serial takes a time-leap of 18 years after which Tapasya and Icchha's children's lives are portrayed.
