Volvo Auto India, today launched the all-new Volvo V40 premium hatchback at a starting price of INR 24.75 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). Swedish luxury carmaker, Volvo today launched the all-new 2015 V40 luxury hatchback in India priced between INR 24.75 – 27.75 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). A take from the V40 Cross Country, the V40 is the hatchback version of the former. The Volvo V40 is the third vehicle to be launched by Volvo Auto India this year and it will be pitched against the likes of Mercedes-Benz A-Class and BMW 1 Series.

Swedish luxury carmaker Volvo has embarked on an aggressive growth strategy. A part of this plan is to expand its sales network in the country which according to the company would increase to 22 touch points by the end of this year. Moreover by 2020, the company aims to sell 10,000 units and capture around 10 per cent of the Indian luxury car segment, which is expected to touch 1,00,000 lakh units by that time.
