After Gujarat, Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh, now Uttarakhand has also announced a cut in Value Added Tax (VAT) on fuel by 2 per cent. Not just VAT, the Uttarakhand government has also cut cess on fuel by 2 per cent, thereby, bringing down the prices of petrol and diesel.
