Vinay Kumar, born on February 12, 1984, is an Indian cricketer who plays as a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium bowler. He started his cricketing career by playing the Ranji Trophy for Karnataka in 2004. He is known to be the highest wicket taker in the 2009 Ranji Trophy taking a total of 16 wickets. He has represented the teams of Karnataka, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
