E-Waste: India has E-Waste Management Rules 2016 and The Deposit Refund Scheme to tackle the issue of electronic waste. India now has 178 registered e-waste recyclers, accredited by government to process e-waste. According to a report of Union Environment ministry many of India's e-waste recyclers are not recycling waste at all.
