Tired of paying high rents and buying expensive grocery? If you are living in India you are better off than other cities in the world that are far more expensive to live in. According to the latest ranking by Economist Intelligence Unit, an independent group that provides advisory services after extensive research and analysis, no Indian city is on its bi-annual list of most expensive cities. However, Singapore has managed to grab the first spot again, making it the most expensive city to live in, three years in a row now. After surveying 133 cities around the world by measuring 160 daily needs items and services, the list was created. Transportation, utility bills and groceries too were part of the survey to have an accurate assessment.
