Munnar is one of the most beautiful summer getaways in India. Located 1600 m above sea level, it is surrounded by several hilly tea plantations that are absolutely spellbinding. Over the years, Munnar has become one of the most popular hill stations in the south Indian state, Kerala. Not only is it offer a fantastic view of the hills and valleys, but takes you close to nature in way most city dwellers absolutely need! Munnar is a simple town in the Western Ghats and is also known for its old world charm from the British Era. Not only is Munnar known for its stunning tea estates, but it is also known for the variety of animals and birds you can spot in national parks located here.
