Named after the Roman Goddess of Dawn, Aurora, this amazing natural phenomenon is stuff that people travel thousands of miles to witness. Auroras are observed in the regions near the Arctic and the Antarctic and 2016 has had very high activity. Iceland, which is one of the few countries in the world where you can witness this amazing phenomenon, has been home to photographer Michalina Okreglicka for about a year and a half. Michalina has been photographing Auroras for a year, just as shes been photographing roads of Iceland for about the same time. The Aurora season in Iceland ends around March and these will be the last of the Auroras you will witness this year. We reproduce these pictures with kind permission of Michalina Okreglicka.
