The concept of thali is an Indian one and was popular long before buffet and brunches became a thing. A large, thali with tiny bowls and an assortment of the best food of a particular cuisine is what you can expect in a thali. Luckily, there are restaurants that have stuck to their roots and still follow this concept instead of opting for buffets. So if you claim to be a foodie and are in a mood to test how much you can eat, head to one of these thali joints in Mumbai for a vegetarian feast.
