Summer is here and so is the heat it brings along with it. 1. Sunscreen lotion

Stepping out without sunscreen even in winters is not good but doing so in summers is simply a crime. The harmful rays of the sun can give you skin problems sooner than later not forget the uneven tanning that is hard to get rid of. So don’t forget to pack a sunscreen lotion with both UVA and UVB protection with an SPF of 30 or more. 2. Scarf

A scarf is one of the best accessories you can have in your bag because it can be used in several ways. Wrap it around your head when out in the sun, wrap it around your waist when on the beach like a sarong or simply wet it and use it to wipe your face when you run out of tissues. In short, pack at least one if not more scarves in your bag.

3. Sunglasses

If you think sunglasses are just an accessory to look good in photos, you couldn’t be more wrong. Yes, pick the right frame and it makes you look dashing but sunglasses are a must-have summer accessory in your bag. The UV filters protect your eyes from harmful rays of the sun and glare so don’t miss out on this one.

4. Umbrella

The scorching heat can cause sunstroke, tanning and lead to headaches. So if you are going to be out in the sun for long, make sure you carry an umbrella with you. You will find small ones that easily fit into even handbags without taking up too much space. Look for the ones with a grey/silver coating as they are better-suited for summer.

5. Deodorant

Body odor can not just put people off but gives rise to bacteria too. So make sure you have a can of your favorite bodyspray in your bag before you leave. From roll-ons to sprays to mists, there are several varieties you can choose from.

6. Water bottle

It is important to rehydrate yourself especially in the summer to avoid suffering a heat stroke or dehydration. Instead of buying a bottle every time you go out, pack a reusable water bottle that you can refill on the go.

7. Face wipes

You are bound to sweat in the summer or have dirt and oil collected on your face after a day of sightseeing. Keep face wipes handy to wipe all of it off and feel fresh when you can’t wash your face.
