To celebrate India’s independence and possibly capitalize on the travel bug that everyone has caught, Indian airlines have launched a number of exciting flight discounts for domestic and international routes. IndiGo and Jet Airways had their own offers until August 16, but if you missed them, you still have Air India. Air India has its Freedom Sale going on from August 13 to 20, with some enticing discounts to capitalize on Independence fever. You can find the cheapest flight tickets to Asian cities that are pretty popular among Indians. Round-trip tickets to Kathmandu, Colombo and Yangon, for instance, are being offered for INR 7,000 onwards, if you plan to fly to these destinations between September 16 to November 30 2017 and January 25 to March 31, 2018. Tickets to Middle East destinations are also coming in cheap, starting from INR 6,000 for Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat and other cities. Domestic flights are being offered from INR 425, if you plan on traveling between February 1 and April 20, 2018. The fares are only for single journeys, though, and seats are limited in availability. Air India will be offering all the discounted flight tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the fares will be non-refundable. Tickets for other Asian cities like Singapore and Hong Kong are also available on discount, along with destinations in Europe, America and elsewhere, like New York, Paris, Rome and Sydney. You can book these tickets online at the Air India website and app or from travel agents.
