Daringbadi might soon become a prominent tourist attraction as the Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik has opened a tribal museum at the hill-view park of Daringbadi. In addition to this, a nature camp is being developed to promote eco-tourism in Daringbadi. The museum is a huge project built on 1,100 square feet of land. Close to Rs 30 lakh has been spent on this museum which showcases the dresses, ornaments and musical instruments of the local Kandha and Kutia Kandha tribes. The local forest department will set up the nature camp which will have six cottages, a restaurant and facilities for forest treks. With an investment of Rs 55 lakh, the forest department has done a splendid job over the last six months to develop the nature camp. Spread across four hectares, the park is a delight for nature and wildlife lovers as it includes a butterfly park, a medicinal garden, 3D movie halls, and also exhibits of lifesize images of wild animals.
