An Emirates flight EK521 traveling from Trivandrum International Airport to Dubai, made a crash landing at Dubai International Airport after a mechanical failure. The flight had 282 passengers and 18 crew members on board. However, spokespersons from Emirates have confirmed that all of them are safe and there are no causalities. The Boeing 777 aircraft departed from India at 10.19 am and was scheduled to land at 12.50 pm in Dubai. However, it made a crash landing due to which Emirates is experiencing an eight-hour network-wide delay. Out of the total number of passengers, 226 were Indians traveling to Dubai. After the incident, Emirates has issued toll-free helpline numbers where families and friends can get in touch for any queries about their loved ones who were on the flight. They haven’t listed any number for India but they have specified that the numbers are toll-free and people can give them a call to know more about their family members. According to their Facebook page, this the official statement issued by Emirates.

We are glad there were no causalities and that all the passengers as well as crew members are safe and fine.
