SantaAnna Mykonos

What’s better than swimming in a beach? Swimming in a pool beside the beach, of course. Okay, that may or may not be true, but we just wanted a way to introduce the largest beach-side swimming pool in Europe, which has opened recently in the beautiful city of Greece. Spread across 22,600 square feet, this saltwater pool lies beside the Paraga Beach overlooking the Aegean Sea, within the premises of the recently opened SantAnna beach club. You don’t have to be a guest at the club to avail the new massive pool. Entry is free to the pool, although you would be charged for seating. A lounger would cost around EUR 20 onwards, depending on the location.

And if you are a guest at the beach club, you get some added perks. There are separate areas on the pool called a VIP Island, with private underground cabins for changing and taking showers. These VIP Islands will come for EUR 500, but if that’s not enough for you, there is always Royal Island, with more space and a large apartment underwater for some rest and relaxation after your swim. Owned by Nice-n-Easy, the SantAnna beach club looks to cater to a wider range of guests that come to Mykonos, the beautiful Greek island that lies in the Aegean sea.

The beach club, according to Nice-n-Easy’s Dimitris Christoforidis, aims to offer a laid back environment for party goers as well as single guests, groups and families. The two organic restaurants here include a 45-seat sushi and raw bar and a larger 300-seat Mediterranean restaurant. The beach club has DJ sets on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The club arranges private water taxis, road transport, helicopter services and island tours too. However, it remains open only during the summer months of May to October, so make your booking soon or wait until next year.
