Mussoorie, also known as the queen of the hills, is a hill town, which is extremely popular among tourists due to its cool climate and scenic view. From Haridwar, the distance to Mussoorie is about 80 km and it takes around 3-4 hours to reach Mussoorie by road. There are buses that run from Haridwar to Dehradun, and one can change buses at Dehradun to Mussoorie, which is hardly around 30 kms from the state capital. To start off the journey, head northeast on NH 58 for 13 kilometres, turning left on NH 72 near Nepali Farms, then heading along NH 72 for 13 kilmetres then turning left, until one reaches Doiwala. From Doiwala, turn right on the Haridwar-Dehradun Road, until you reach EC Road. Take the Rajpur road from there, until you reach the Mussoorie diversion. Take a left from Mussoorie diversion and from there keep on going down the Mussorie Road for another 20 kilometres, until you reach your destination.
