What if you had a chance to share anecdotes about your country and the places you have traveled with a live audience? Sounds exciting? Clap Global is doing just that but your audience is none other than schoolchildren. The organization wants travelers from different parts of the world to share their experience and culture with children of different countries on their travels. They believe that children always learn more when they hear and see something than when they simply read it in a textbook. Clap Global has already started this practice in many schools across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane and will soon expand to other places too. They’ve had several foreign travelers who pre-registered with them and came down to these schools to give an hour-long presentation about their homeland and travels. And at the end of it, the children gave them their honest feedback and asked questions that came to their mind. Sounds a whole lot of fun and a way to learn more about other cultures as well. Not just a presentation, travelers can also bring food of their country to share with the kids and in return try food from their lunchboxes as well. This interactive session is a fun way to teach children about different countries and their traditions. Once you register, you can give your traveling dates with Clap Global. The schools registered with it then get a list of travelers’ profiles based on the date of their preference and they can invite one traveler to the school. The chosen traveler receives a digital kit from the school to help prepare a presentation where they can add photos, etc. In the one hour session, they present this and even talk to the kids in an interactive session. So the next time you plan a travel, would you include a trip to a local school to visit the kids? Also Read - Watch LIVE: PM Modi Attends Online Summit With Australian PM Scott Morrison
