Visapur Fort is located near the Visapur village in the Pune district. You can drive down from Mumbai or Pune via the Mumbai-Bangalore road that leads to NH 48. On the Mumbai-Pandharpur road, take the left to Ekvira Devi road to reach Malavali. The base village of Lohagadwdi is just around 5 km from the Malavali railway station. Visapur Fort is located 5-8 km from the Malavali railway station. You can either walk or take an auto to reach the base village from Malavali railway station. It will take you around 16 minutes by an auto-rickshaw to reach the trek base. Be advised that a part of this road is quite steep.

Pune Airport is the closest airport to Visapur Fort. It is located at a distance of 65 km from the Visapur Fort. You can drive down from Pune to the Visapur fort trekking base in 1 hour and 52 minutes.
