The Canadian pop singer who is a global sensation will be performing his maiden show in India on May 10. However, he is arriving a couple of days before his scheduled performance at the D.Y.Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. This will give him some time to tour the city of Mumbai. Part of his Purpose World tour to celebrate the success of his album ‘Purpose’, Bieber’s India visit has garnered the attention of Bieber fans (called Beliebers) all over the world. A recently leaked list of demands by Bieber for the India visit mentioned a Jacuzzi installed for him to unwind before he goes onstage, and an ‘Indian yoga casket’ stuffed full of essential oils and books on chakras to be left in his hotel suite. To ensure a lavish stay for Bieber and his crew, two entire hotels have been reserved with Bieber’s personal 1,000 sq ft suite being redesigned to his taste – think antique furniture, Mogul art pieces and purple carnations to brighten up the room. Day 1

On his first day, Justin Bieber will be treated to some lip-smacking Indian delicacies as it is a known fact that he loves authentic Indian food. He will be served by royal butlers from Rajasthan in traditional golden and silver plates that will have Bieber’s and his entourage members’ names engraved on them in the Devanagiri script. To add to the traditional ambiance, flutists and sarangi players will play soothing music during the dining hours. Day 2


Day 2 will be Justin Bieber’s day to be a tourist in Mumbai. Giving him a taste of all things desi will be Bollywood diva Jacqueline Fernandez. He will be visiitng some of the city’s major landmarks like Gateway of India, Kala Ghoda and Mahatma Gandhi’s abode in the city – Mani Bhavan. Keeping in mind that Bieber loves massages, he will then be treated to a pampering, luxurious Ayurvedic spa session. A visit to an underprivileged home may also be on the cards. This may be followed by a party thrown by a leading industrialist and an actor (no names revealed yet) to welcome Bieber to India and give him a taste of Indian hospitality.

Day 3

This is the day of Justin Bieber’s maiden performance in India. Following his performance in Mumbai, Justin Bieber will pay a visit to New Delhi and Jaipur and visit most of the historical monuments in these cities. And then, like every major celebrity or foreign tourist who has ever cvisited India, Justin Bieber will pay a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal to witness its grandeur.
