Mumbai has been going bonkers with the arrival of Prince William and Kate Middleton earlier today. The royal couple is on a whistle-stop tour of India and Bhutan. But despite the tight schedule are trying to tick off as many boxes as possible. They started their day by paying tribute to the victims of the 26/11 terror attack victims following which they visited the slums of Mumbai and participated in a game of cricket at the Oval Maidan. Kate, especially, has stepped into the (very large) shoes of the Peoples Princess Diana rather efficiently. So it wasnt surprising that she had no qualms before stepping out in the Mumbai summer to try her hand out at a game of cricket. It might interest you, our dear reader, to know that Kate Middleton is an accomplished hockey player and so we were only curious to see how she wielded the bad. We simply cannot get over how easily she slipped into the local Mumbaikar mode and even managed to hit a ball or two.
