The luxury train that has several routes that offer you a glimpse of India’s rich cultural heritage, is one of the most expensive rides. The special discount is on booking companion offer which means when you book a cabin on double occupancy, you get a discount. According to its offer, a double occupancy deluxe cabin that costs you Rs 5,36,710 will cost you Rs 4,02,533 after discount. While a presidential suite that costs Rs 8,05,100 for two people, will cost Rs 6,03,825. The routes offered include Maharastra Splendor that starts from Mumbai and takes you via Nashik, Aurangabad, Ajanta, Kolhapur, Goa, Sindhudurg and back to Mumbai. Other routes such as Indian Sojourn go from Mumbai to Delhi while Indian Odyssey take you to Jaipur, Udaipur and Vadodara. Luxury trains in India have seen a decline in the past few years. Palace on Wheels that is India’s premium luxury train had no bookings for the first time ever in 34 years due to which the luxury train had to cancel its journey.
