This is the first place that pops up to my mind when I think of late-night food. Bademiya is popular for its kebabs and rolls, and it serves both veg and non-veg. The seating arrangement isn’t exactly great here so it is better if you have a car. As it’s close to Gokul (the popular bar), one can have a drink too!

2. Bachelorr’s, Marine Drive
This place is for the ones with a sweet tooth. If you have a craving for something sweet late in the night, drive off to Bachelorr’s which serves the best ice-creams and milkshakes in town! Try the desserts with fresh cream, they will have you slurping till you finish the last bit. They have a good option for snacks too!

5. Ayub’s, Fort
Those who swear by spicy food, Ayub’s if the perfect joint for them. The biryani is lip-smacking yum, be it veg or non-veg. Roasted mushroom tikka is a must-try! For the non-vegetarians, mutton bhuna will be quite a feast!

8. Zaffran, Crawford Market
Zaffran, near CST, serves authentic Mughal cuisine. The nocturnal humans, who are willing to shell out slightly more, to sit and enjoy a meal, should visit Zaffran. This place not only specializes in meat dishes but also serves the best prawns and fish in town.

9. Amar Juice Centre, Vile Parle
The pav-bhaji at Amar Juice centre is really famous. Apart from that, one can order pizzas and burgers, which are quite good too.

While this place shuts at 1 am, it offers take-away food till 6 am! The rolls are absolutely drool-worthy! You can munch on several items here, without burning a hole in your pocket!

Apart from these 10 places in Mumbai, we must add that there are several more eateries, hidden in the corners of Mumbai, which serve food to the foodies post the witching hour. There are tiny stalls, which serve idlis with sutta (smoke) for the smokers, burji pao to the egg-lovers, juice (Haji Ali Juice Centre) to the diet conscious ones and almost everything that one wants. There are 5-star hotels that are open all day and through the night. No wonder Mumbai is often referred to as the city that never sleeps.
